The MODULA HD CLASSIC CAM utilizes a next-generation 2/3-inch CMOS chip to deliver full 1080p and 720p resolution at 24p/25p/30p. Using the MODULA HD CAM´s interlaced mode (1080i/720i) frame rates up to 60/120fps are possible. The MODULA HD CAM provides lightweight compact size, modular design and uncompromising HDTV performance for a wide range of applications including digital cinematography and broadcast television.

Small Camera, Big Picture

The MODULA HD CLASSIC CAM features a 2/3-inch CMOS image sensor, 16bit quantization process and a signal-to-noise ratio of >56dB . The MODULA HD Cam is meeting 1920x1080 pixels or 1280 × 720 pixels HDTV specifications in interlace or progressive, and has a high dynamic range of up to 12f-stops in high gain mode. The automatic exposure control option ensures a very smooth operation.

Connectivity

Using a unique system of interchangeable lens mounts, the camera allows attachment of industry standard B4 bayonet-style high quality HD lenses (e.g. Digi Primes and Zooms), C-mount, Nikon-style and ARRI PL mount cine-style lenses (including all 35mm and 16mm cine lenses). This modular upgradeable concept characterizes the basic idea behind the MODULA HD CLASSIC CAM, which allows to configure the camera with an wide range of accessories to perfectly match the application´s needs.
